Adopting a consultative approach to recruitment, I take the time to understand each candidate’s specific situation, their value proposition, their expectations, and successfully place talented people into opportunities which allow them to realise their value and full potential.
I completed a BCom and PGDipCom from the University of Auckland, which fostered my passion for commerce. I developed my expertise in finance recruitment in post-GFC London, where the less-than-ideal market conditions prompted me to develop a specialisation, and to focus on delivering value over and above base level recruitment transactions. This specialisation has continued to develop and enabled me to successfully manage global search assignments.
I am known for working collaboratively with clients, as someone who challenges thinking and assumptions, and who delivers consistently. My approach is to focus on both short- and long-term value, always operating with the utmost integrity and professionalism. As a result, I have been trusted with managing significant global search assignments to identify, attract, and secure exceptional individuals.

Life Outside the Office
With three young kids, my life outside of recruitment centers on my wife and young family. Whether it be swimming, football, or attempting to manage the madness which 3 young kids bring, there is never a dull moment. When my diary and body accommodates, I will be found on the football field – I was raised in a football-crazed household, with my father representing NZ and playing professionally in the UK.
